Hi ! Thanks for stopping by. Tree Fort Photography represents two photographers, Sarah and Kareem. We work together to bring you the whole package with both photo and video services. We strive to bring our clients lasting memories through weddings, corporate and special events. With our modern approach to photography we combine editorial and documentary styles to ensure we capture every moment and detail of your event.
With our relaxed unobtrusive approach we’ll make sure you are comfortable and looking your best in every portrait. We strive to capture your individual personality with every frame creating natural, artistic and loving images.
About Us
Sarah
A graduate of Sheridan College’s Photography program, Sarah has been working in the industry since 2006. Sarah is the main stills photographer for Tree Fort, and personally shoots every wedding. She loves creating stories through her images and would love to tell yours.
Sarah spent her early career shooting commercial campaigns as well as fashion editorials and product look books. From this commercial work she mastered both her technical and creative skills. (www.SarahTphoto.ca)
Sarah grew up in a darkroom, playing with chemicals and photographing the people around her. She is inspired by many traditional documentary photographers and uses photoshop as her darkroom, creating soft film like effects to her images. An active member of Gallery 44, Sarah still shoots film for various creative projects and has had the chance to exhibit these photographs at various galleries such as Project Gallery and 416.
Kareem
An accomplished cinematographer, videographer, photographer and documentarian, Kareem focuses on the video portion of Tree Fort Photography. Since 2007 Kareem has filmed on every continent including Antarctica and in over 60 different countries. He’s personable, creative and is far from just another guy with a camcorder. Priding himself on being an independent with big talent and a lot of skill he shoots/edits much of his own work and has an eye for visual composition.
Kareem began his production house Occupied Media 7 years ago to pursue his passion of current events and culture. This interest in the world also led Kareem to film his first full length documentary in the Middle East in 2007 titled: ‘The Eye of Egypt’. He prides himself on his technical skills with a camera but is also comfortable in front of a lens as well. He has studied acting and writing and in his spare time can be seen performing stand up comedy or hosting one of his podcasts on iTunes.

Why The Name Tree Fort?
We get asked this question a lot! To us weddings are all about bringing together family & friends for a celebration. When we were kids having a Tree Fort signified the same thing; a happy, comfortable place we can be an individual and surround ourselves with the people who we love. We thought this would be a perfect name; natural, playful and full of life.
