A beautiful outdoor wedding in Muskoka

You can’t get more romantic than Chris and Nicky’s outdoor wedding! Held at the family apple farm in Muskoka, the location and wedding day was picture perfect. A warm summer day, we had lots of natural light to play with during both the ceremony and formal photos. My favourite part was running across a big open field full of cows to the apple tree where Chris and Nicky had their first high-school kiss. It was a wonderful opportunity to recreate this unique moment for a photograph. I can’t think of a sweeter memento for the day!

The decorations and flowers matched perfectly with the farm location. All locally made, there was a real community spirit to the day. Nicky’s dress was a modern vintage masterpiece with intricate lacing throughout; She looked like a Hollywood starlet from the 1920’s. The party went all night and we had a blast photographing the happy party goers. Nicky warned us ahead of time that Chris and his Firefighter co-workers were always the life of the party, nothing could have been truer. The entire party; family and friends had fun dancing all night to a live band under the stars. We were excited to photograph the experience for them.
