Gars + Melissa

A fun fall wedding at York University.

These two fun newlyweds had so much energy, we could barely keep up (they are both professional personal trainers)! They mixed a traditional religious ceremony with a modern and playful reception, incorporating fun pink accents everywhere. You could tell Melissa and Gars came from a truly loving family, there were lots of smiles wherever you looked.

We had so much fun shooting in the colourful fall leaves around York University, which really kept with the playful and colourful energy of Gars and Melissa. I love finding nature in the city, and always try to incorporate it into our photographs. One of my favourite photographs is a detail shot of their wedding rings framed by a bright red maple leaf.
