Jennifer + Seb

Weddings

A candid down town wedding.

Enoch Turner Schoolhouse, is a beautiful heritage wedding venue in Toronto, and the perfect location for this small, casual wedding. Build in 1848, it’s the oldest school still standing in Toronto. My favourite part was playing with the bright, natural sunlight shining in through the large windows during the ceremony. Although it can be unpredictable, I just love working with natural light, and the soft glow it gives the happy couple couldn’t be more beautiful.

Seb and Jennifer are the perfect couple… maybe a little nerdy (Seb is a video game playing techie and Jen is a lawyer in training). I could tell right away having their photo taken was not something either one of them enjoyed very much. I did my best to put them at ease and in the end we captured a lot of truly beautiful and candid moments together.

Jennifer got her classic dress from the Brides Project. Fighting cancer one dress at a time, they accept and re-sell donated gowns. All proceeds going to cancer charities. What an amazing company! Be sure to check them out.
